WP5 - Digital consultation and telemedicine

The rise of the health market will be driven by new opportunities related to the growth, increased longevity and aging of the global population, which will lead to a progressive increase in the incidence/prevalence of oncological, neurological, cerebro-cardiovascular, metabolic and osteoarticular diseases.
This WP aims to develop a set of products that leverage the digital transitions in health and improve care delivery, focusing on 3 key areas:
- Health promotion, with the main goal of improving patients' health literacy and promoting good habits that can help prevent the onset of various chronic diseases;
- Digital consultation support tools, which aim to develop products that enable integrated and specialized care, particularly for populations far from large urban centers, and to make the best use of healthcare resources and the time of professionals and patients;
- Assessment and monitoring tools will drive the development of management and clinical decision support products for monitoring wounds, COPD, lung cancer and neurodegenerative diseases.
